Points Championships

For Club Racing and Time Trials, points will be awarded for the best 6 events (SCCA sanctioned only). Each active driver in a shared Enduro will be awarded full points.

For Solo, RallyCross and Road Rally, points will be awarded for ALL Chattanooga Region events plus for up to 3 events outside the Region (best three outside).

Six points for starting an event.
Points for finish position in class:	1^st Place	24 Points
	2^nd Place	18 Points
	3^rd Place	14 Points
	4^th Place	12 Points
	5^th Place	10 Points
	6^th Place	8 Points
	7^th Place	6 Points
	8^th Place	4 Points
	9^th Place	2 Points
PLUS one point for each car starting in class that does not finish ahead of you (in events, not in championships)

In addition to the above, points shall be awarded for championship series and events as below:

Points awarded as above for finishing position in class for SEDIV points championships in class for:
	Road Rally SEDIV Championship Solo Divisional Championship Time Trials SEDIV Championship National Club Racing SEDIV Points SARRC ECR
Double above points awarded for finishing position in Runoffs, the American Road Race of Champions, Solo National Championship, ProSolo Championship, and the U. S. Road Rally Challenge.

For successfully completing SCCA approved Club Racing driving school - 20 points.
Organizers of SCCA Chattanooga Region Competition Events can be awarded first place finishing points for the event, 24 POINTS. To be eligible they must have:
1. Served as a principal in organization of the event: Organizer, Registrar, Chief of T & S, Course Design & Setup, or Safety Steward or similar jobs by another name.
2. Be nominated for the points by the Committee supervising that event (Notify the Points Keeper).
3. Not compete in the event.
4. Not received Organizer Points previously in that year (one time per year per person).
ONLY Chattanooga Region members are eligible.
NO REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP WILL BE AWARDED FOR ANY COMPETITION CATEGORY FOR WHICH THERE WAS NOT A COMPETITOR WHO PARTICIPATED IN A MINIMUM OF THREE EVENTS IN THAT CATEGORY.
