SCCA Track Trails will return to the Nashville Superspeedway on May 17-18, 2008. Still living up to the title of 2005 Southeast Division's Time Trials Event of the Year, the Chattanooga Region plans on making the 2008 event even better. Nashville Superspeedway is a beautiful new facility near Lebanon, Tennessee with a 1.8 mile road course. Drivers and crew should enjoy the open air garages, restrooms with running water, and fine meeting rooms. SCCA even has use of the track's wireless PA. Timing will be done with AMB transponders. The road course provides a high speed front straight through the tri-oval to test the car and several turns in the infield to test the driver. Sports Car Club of America Time Trials test a driver's skill one car at a time. Track Trials are a type of Time Trials usually taking place on a race track. Track Trials allow almost any type of car from SCCA race cars to Solo cars. Cars must have at least a roll bar for safety. This event is open to members with any Time Trials or Club Racing licenses. Novice Time Trials licenses can be issued at the event so almost anyone can drive.
